ALFASHIELD EG-3K is premium performance three component epoxy resin based grout for permanent bedding and grouting of all types of tiles, natural stones and agglomerates. Suitable for both floors and walls up to tile width 2 mm to 12 mm.

Application / Uses:

ALFASHIELD EG-3K is specially designed for all floor/Stone tiles in administration buildings, hotels, schools, toilets, sewage plants, sewers, cattle stabling and for stairs exposed to de- icing salt. For laying and grouting of ceramic tiles in swimming pools, hot springs, baths in hospitals as well as for ceramic tiles in shower facilities or wellness areas.

Method of Application:

Surface Preparation

Surface must be free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles etc.
Allow tile adhesive a minimum of 24 hours to cure before grouting
Minimum joint width for walls is 2 mm and for floors 3 mm
Joint surfaces must be firm, clean and free from loose materials and adhesive residue
Do not grout over expansion or movement joints
It is recommended that quarry or porous non-glazed tiles are sealed prior to grouting in order to prevent any staining.

Mixing :

ALFASHIELD EG-3K must be mixed with a suitable drill and mixing paddle. Add Resin, Hardener and Filler and mix until a uniform
colour and consistency are obtained.
