ALFASHIELD CLEAR COAT is a transparent, elastic, acrylic-based UV TPR that provides resistance to weathering, foot traffic, and has UV and weathering properties. Common applications include a clear Acrylic UV TPR for Glass mosaic and China mosaic tiles.

Application Instructions

Surface Preparation
Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from rust, grease, oil, and loose material before applying ALFASHIELD CLEAR COAT.

Application
After surface preparation and proper cleaning, apply the first coat of ALFASHIELD CLEAR COAT UV TPR coating by roller or brush, depending on achieving 30 to 40 microns thickness on the surface without any dilution. Allow the surface to air dry for 5 to 6 hours, then apply the second coat in a perpendicular direction to the first coat and leave it to hard dry for 24 hours.
