ALFASHIELD ACF-100 is composed of high quality, weather durable acrylic emulsion polymer, graded fillers, light fast pigment & additives. It is a single pack, ready to use flexible component for filling cracks in plastered surfaces because of its excellent bonding, ease of application, water resistance, aesthetic appearance & durability.

Field of Application / Uses:

  • To fill the static cracks of 3 to 5 mm sizes in horizontal or vertical areas of buildings & structures.
  •  To level the undulation of the un-plastered or plastered ceilings and walls before painting.
  • To provide smooth finish to brick, stone, and wood work
  • As an excellent sculpting material.
  • Allow it to set for 24 hours and then apply another coat of ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste.
  • Further POP or putty application can be taken up once it is fully dry.
  • For best results allow ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste to cure for 7 days.

Application Instructions :

Surface Preparation

  • Surface must be free from dust, oil, grease, and loose particles etc.
  • Moisten the surface before applying ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste.
  •  Fine hair line cracks must be widened up to 1 mm minimum using a scrapper and then filled.
  •  For filling ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste on the internal surface, existing POP or putty must be removed till plaster surface is exposed.
  •  For porous surfaces, apply primer coat prepared with ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste and water in 1:1 proportion over the crack. Fill ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste when the surface is tacky and not dried completely

Application:

  • Press ALFASHIELD ACF-100 Paste firmly into the crack with a spatula or putty knife and level with the surface.
  • Care must be taken to avoid formation of cavities or bubbles during application.
  • Keep out of reach of children
