ALFA CRETE

ALFA CRETE -A White liquid with High quality Acrylic Polymer blended with plasticizers and selected fillers, aptly
suitable for waterproof coating, bonding agent, On diluting with water it produces a gauging solution for improving
cementations mixes. On addition with With Portland Cement it increases and improves the mechanical properties
such as bonding (adhesion) with various building materials, compression flexural and impact strength. When used as
coating it improves the thin section fragility of cement.

Mixing Ratio

For Coating – ALFA Crete : Cement “1:2” part by weight
For flooring screeds 18-20% by weight on quantity
For cement paints 3-4 ltr. / 50kg. bag of cement
Bonding coat Cement : ALFA Crete 1:1 parts by weight
For mortars of repair of 15–20% by weight on cement quantity. RCC members

Features

AREA OFAPPLICATIONS:

Waterproofing of basements, building terrace, toilet sunken portion, waterproofing of water tanks and swimming
pools. Bridge decks, traffic aprons, runway, parking garages, industrial or factory floors, balconies, mechanical
rooms, side walls. Etc. Pools and foundations, reservoirs, channels dams, water tower, tunnels etc. Sewers, silos,
foundation walls, swimming pools etc. Repairing of concrete & masonry walls- internal, external and terrace roofs by
cement mortars. Protection of concrete against corrosion and effloresce. As an additive with cement paints which
improves waterproofing property, coverage by 20-25% and life of cement paint. As a bonding agent for old concrete
and new concrete.

A. BRUSH COATING APPLICATION:

For waterproofing of terrace, toilet blocks, swimming pools, water tanks and basements.

After surface preparation pre-wet the surface with sufficient water.
Allow the surface to dry for minimum an hour. Mix 2kg. of OP cement with 1ltr. Of ALFA Crete

homogenously till no lump or air bubble remains in the mix.

Apply coating by brush and allow it to dry for 2 hrs. before application of second coat. Minimum 2 coats are
required.

A.CEMENT PAINT ADMIXTURES

Mix 3-4ltr. Of ALFA Crete with 50kg. of cement paint homogeneously to form an uniform mix.
Apply the mixed and diluted cement paint by brush.
For better result use reinforcement.
Allow to dry 2 hrs. before application of second coat.
t increases the covering capacity of cement paint by 20-25%.

Substrate Quality-

Depending on the application, the substrate should be sound and free of all traces of contaminants, loose and friable
particles, cement laitance, oils and grease etc. For structurally bonded situations, the substrate must be structurally
adequate.

Substrate Preparation –

The substrate should be prepared by suitable mechanical preparation techniques such as water jetting, needle guns,
blast cleaning, scrabblers etc. and properly pre wetted to a saturated surface dry condition.
Application Conditions / Limitations- Substrate Temperature +5°C min. / +35°C max.
COVERAGE: 18-20 sqft in 2coat will give 1mm DFT.
